Bat-Mitzvah aged girls from the "Issac Leibush Perets" School of S. Paulo Brazil visited a Chabad Mikvah.
As part of their pre Bat-Mitzvah education program, girls from the (non-religious) "Isaac Leibush Perets" school of S. Paulo Brazil visited the central Chabad House of Brazil, directed by Rabbi Shabsi Alpern.
The girls were treated to a interesting lecture from the young and energetic Shliach, Rabbi Dani Eskenazi, discussing Judaism and it's application to the daily life, and hearing the Shofar.
The girls then proceeded for a tour of the magnificient Mikvah, hearing about its importance for the the Jewish life and the idea of purification. The mothers were also invited to the tour, so they too can learn about the importance of a Mikvah and how and when a Mikvah must be used.
The participants asked questions about the operation and installation of the Mikvah, which involves fine details of Halacha, and received responses to their questions about the importance of the ritual.
