Joannie Tansky is a writer, managing editor and speaker. As a baal teshuva for over twenty years, she has never forgotten the secular world she came from, nor the challenges she faced to get where she is today. She is able to relate to women of all ages and backgrounds.
Her style is warm, sincere, engaging and humorous. She makes you feel as though you are sitting in your living room and having a quiet, soul to soul conversation. She is able to elicit questions from those in the audience or around the table, enabling them to share their own personal issues.
She has been part of the Chevra Kadisha for almost twelve years and is able to speak on this delicate, yet very important subject. As well, she speaks on a variety of topics including: Women’s Issues; Personal Growth, Taking That First Step; Moving out of Your Own Personal Pothole.
She has written a book, which is currently being published by Urim Publications entitled Girl Meets G-d: The Gift of Being a Jewish Woman.
