Rabbi Nissan Ruppo, Chabad Shliach and Chief Rabbi of Kostroma, Russia, renovated and restored the city Mikvah, which was also renovated by Rabbi Michoel Dvorkin
in 1927, in honor of the Frierdiker Rebbe who lived there after being
liberated from incarceration.The grand-opening ceremony took place in
the presence of guests from the nearby cities; Mr. Igor Slunayev, governor of the Kostroma Oblast; Shliach to Moscow and Chief Rabbi of Russia Berel Lazar and other Shluchi.
