THI Establishes NEW Mayim Chayim Mikvah Building Fund

In the early sixties the Rebbe announced that Lag B'omer is an auspicious day to introduce new projects and expand existing ones.  In this spirit Taharas Hamishpacha International introduces the new "The (add your loved one's &/or family name here) Mayim Chayim Mikvah Building Fund".

The concept for this fund began with a recent phone call to Taharas Hamishpacha International, headed by Chaya Sarah Zarchi.  A donor wished to donate funds in loving memory of her parents to be used as the final monies to complete and open a mikvah.  Chabad centers with mikvah projects were notified.  "The response was tremendous and overwhelming" says, Project Manager, Chassi Rivkin, who sifted through hundreds of emailed applications.  "It was fabulous to see the astronomical amount of mikvaos in the making, yet painful to "hear" the pleas of desperation for monies urgently needed to start, continue or complete the building phase", says Chassi, "I wish we had millions to distribute!"

The lead donor chose shluchim, Rabbi Alexander & Leah Namdar for this award and is expecting the mikvah in Gothenburg, Sweden to open shortly. "The monies have already been wired and the mikvah is under its final construction stage", confirmed Chaya Sarah Zarchi.  Thanks to the publicity on COLLIVE surrounding this first donation, another donor has requested the zchus to donate money to a mikvah project in loving memory of her parents. The process of matching a donor with a Chabad center is underway.

THI still has a long list of Chabad Centers waiting for final funds to be able to open up new Mikvaos, or begin needed renovations. With this in mind, this new building fund is opened today, in honor of Lag B'omer.

Mikvah is the bedrock of our nation, the very cornerstone of our existence upon which our eternity rests.

Seed money is needed to build this fund. This is a unique opportunity today - Lag B'omer – an awesome day of blessings.  It takes just one family or any individual/s that will step up to the plate and allow shluchim to do their part around the world.  "To be able to help each applicant, we need millions", says Chassi, "and I'm sure we can get it and give it away happily to any shliach who fits the criteria." Every little bit counts! Contributions of all denominations will be accepted, for these will eventually make the giving "big".

On this auspicious day of Lag B'omer, a yom segulah for generations, we reach out to you with this tremendous investment opportunity. Imagine an investment guaranteed to return your investment thousands of times over! What could be better than to be mezakeh es horabim - with mikvah, the core of Jewish life and continuity.
